Calenutura Rainforest Adventure Eco-Hike: Highlights
Located just south of Trujillo is the Capiro Calenutura National Park. A park that spans approximately 24 square miles, with a core area of around 19 squre miles.
During your one-hour hike, we'll visit the highest point in the Park, offering breathtaking views of the sea, Trujillo Bay, Guaymoreto Lagoon, and the Garifuna communities of San Antonio and Santa Fe.
Calenutura Rainforest Adventure Eco-Hike: $30 per guest
- Meet at our Kiosk/Assembly Area and Depart 1 1/2 Hours after your ship's scheduled time of arrival at our port (for example, if you are scheduled to arrive at 8AM, we leave at 9:30 AM!) This is a Group Tour with other guests from your ship...please be prompt. Your tour vehcile and guide will be waiting to depart one and a half hours after your ship's scheduled arrival.
- There is a 4-person minimum for this tour. If you have less than 4 guests in your group, please fill out the tour request form below and we will do our best to get a group together from your ship! Also, feel free to post details of this eco-hike tour on your Cruise Critic and other Cruise-related message boards to entice others to join you!
- 1 Hour Hike through the Capiro Calentura National Park, where we will see a variety of birds, animals, trees, insects, and panoramic views. Please wear comfortable shoes for hiking on rustic trails. There will be 10-minutes of resting at viewpoints. An experienced Tour Guide will accomany the group, pointing out points of interest and answering your questions. Scenic roundtrip transportation to/from the launching point takes approximately 15 minutes each way. You tour concludes at Trujillo Beach, right next to the cruise ship dock!
- ++If your ship arrives late: Your Rainforest Adventure Eco-Hike will STILL leave one-and-a-half hours after your ship originally scheduled arrival time, so be prompt!
- There is no prepayment or deposit for your tour (payment will be in US CASH ONLY once you get to our tour kiosk)
